Job Objective:

Technical Specialist (TS) provide in-house technical support and repair service to channel partners and end users in China. TS has three primary area of responsibility: (1) Maintain and promote customer satisfactory by provide in-house technical support through email and phone; and (2) validate and process in warranty repair request from authorized service provide; and (3) provide depot repair service to contract customers.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot & technical issue received via e-mail and phone call;
  • Provide depot repair service to contract customers in time;
  • Analyze product technical issue and escalate to Quality department;
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by promptly answering all phone call and e-mail;
  • Maintain and provide reports to assistant manager;
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in electronics/computer/automation with software related background;
  • Proven technical experience in Wireless, preferred with kiosk products maintenance experience;
  • At least 8 years working experience in technical support environment, with min 5 years working experience in AIDC industry with specific technical knowledge on label/card/kiosk printers preferred;
  • Have strong acknowledge of Windows operating system (Win95/98/NT/2000/XP).Effective Microsoft office skill and technical skill. One or more year working experience of supervisor or team leader preferred;

Job Title: Repair Technician

Job Location: Shanghai

Position overview:

Repair Technician (RT) provides repair services to channel partners and end users in China mainland. RT has three primary area of responsibility:

  • Fulfill all service depot functions to customers;
  • Participate as a cross functional team member to find and track product issues;
  • Meet APAC NPS objectives.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Validate and process RMA requests from customers;
  • Provide depot printers repair service to customers;
  • Inspect, analyze and troubleshoot product technical issue;
  • Required to prepare weekly and monthly repair reports accordingly to SLA./KPIs;
  • Required to prepare escalation reports to Quality department;
  • Assist in repair stocks inventory planning and requisition;
  • Responsible for auditing, stocking and issuance of stocks / printer parts from repair Kanban inventory;
  • Be able to setup repair equipment and test program validation;

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree and above in mechanical/electronics/computer/automation;

This position is responsible for identifying and closing sales in Northwest area, including Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning provinces, consisting with budgeted profit and selling expenses and to influence and support Zebra's overall sales/marketing strategy.

  • Achieve revenue quota through management and selling with a set of assigned territories;
  • Build up a strong relationship with channel partners and major accounts;

Establish relationships with a set of strategic Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) to increase revenue through the connection of our printers to a broader set of business solutions.   • Develop and maintain an active project pipeline of ISV partnerships and manage through to closure;

Position overview:

Test and evaluate performance and reliability of new and/or modified products to ensure that said products contain no unidentified problems when released for production or sale.

Support New Product Engineering in the development of new or modified products by testing and evaluating prototype products.

  • Create test plans and either implement these plans himself or lead the activities of Test Technicians in performing the work;

Job Title: Test Technician

Position overview:

  • The Test Technician tests printers and associated software/firmware;
  • These tests include, but are not confined to, verification of software in a development stage, qualification of software prior to release for general manufacturing and distribution, and post launch design assurance;
  • Testing is generally done according to test plans governed by marketing requirements and specifications.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Assists in creating laboratory test plans and organizing test results;
  • Installs firmware and executes product test plans with no direct supervision;
  • Tests printer components such as main logic boards, power supply boards, print heads, and motors according to documented procedures;
  • Provides first level failure analysis and assists in root cause failure analysis;
  • Determines printer performance with the proper equipment and according to established procedures;
  • Assists in the preparation of statistical and graphic presentations in project reports;

Job Title: Program Manager, Sustaining Engineering

Position overview:

Work with Engineering, Sales and Marketing to define project scope, select project team and assign tasks. Schedule tasks and monitor project progress and make sure tasks are performed to target milestones and budget. Products delivered must satisfy Zebra's quality standards. Identify potential project issues and re-assign resources or re-prioritize tasks as necessary based on customer expectations and internal resources.


PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Lead cross functional program team/s responsible for development of sustaining existing products for the SPS OR CPS business managing programs from inception to completion. The programs have a major impact on product cost and market presence;
  • Manage program risks and budget as well as define and ensure adherence to program schedule. Work with product management, sales, customers and sustaining engineering in the definition of the program and product goals. Create and manage program schedules, budgets, issues, and process requirements. Assess and manage program and product risks;

MINIMUM EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • BS Degree in Engineering required; Masters in Engineering or Management preferred;
  • Minimum o f 8 years of experience in leading the design and development of new electromechanical and digital products or experience in managing a technical function is required;

Position overview:

  • Develops and leads execution of development plans targeted to reduce frequency of quality issues related to tier-2 supplier manufacturing defects;
  • Leverages performance data and significant commodity domain expertise to identify and proactively manage supplier quality risk;
  • Evaluates suppliers' internal functions to assess their overall performance and provides feedback in assessment of their operation;

  • Update supplier records with results of visits to and from suppliers;

  • Highly skilled employing and teaching continuous improvement techniques (Gage R&R, SPC, DOE) utilizing statistical data analysis tools like Minitab or JMP. 6 Sigma certification a plus;
  • Participation in Professional Engineering Societies by Commodity is highly desirable;
