  • Establish the relationship with targeted vertical customers, and increase Zebra market share in the targeted vertical.

Job Title: Business Development Manager (for Manufacturing and T&L)

Key Responsibilities

To achieve the financial and strategic goals for Manufacturing and T&L by developing business opportunity and building our target marketplace presence and awareness. Working with the Sales Manager and Channels Managers to define a sales and 'go to market' strategy for the target marketplace and assist in the identification and recruitment of appropriate business partners. Manage the assigned Business Partners to achieve the financial, tactical and strategic goals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify industry specific information retrieval requirements, working if necessary with the SE team to define that need and build sales and marketing proposals, that include Zebra printing solutions and selling Genuine Supplies to address the requirement.

Job Title: Sustaining Electrical Engineer III

Location: Guangzhou

POSITION PURPOSE

Hardware Engineer applies standard or modified techniques to problems for which precedents or probable solutions are known. Receives general supervision as to objectives and results expected. Selects standard approaches or modification independently. Receives supervision or assistance on complex problems.


SUPERVISES

No direct supervision but may coach more junior engineers, technicians, or interns.


RESPONSIBILITY LEVEL

Plans and conducts assignments, for one or more projects. Reviews progress and evaluates results. May lead small projects. May assist with the review and evaluation of personnel performance.

POSITION SUMMARY

The engineer in this position is a key contributor to the success of projects, with technical leadership abilities and solid product knowledge. The engineer will design, implement and support firmware development related to product enhancements and sustaining activities across a broad category of products and code bases. Job Title: Commodity Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

Develop and implement global commodity strategies (exceeding $50 million dollars of commodity spend annually). Lead commodity teams in the development of strong working relationships with tactical purchasing management, product development, operational quality, manufacturing, regional leadership, as well as the global supply base. Drive alignment between global supply base and organizational needs in technology, quality, responsiveness, delivery/availability and cost.


PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Develop commodity business plans in response to business needs and create commodity teams to span across Zebra facilities and business units to drive global leverage.
  • Lead global commodity teams in order to achieve material cost reduction targets as well as supply base alignment in technology, quality, responsiveness, and delivery/availability.
  • Establish and standardize strategic sourcing procedures and business process improvements.
  • Ensure the timely negotiation of all agreements included but not limited to: Purchase Agreements (including the development of framework for productivity and quality plans), Memorandums of Understanding, confidential disclosures, consignment, etc.
  • Negotiate and manage scheduling agreements, driving compliance by both supplier and Zebra/EMS partners.
  • Serve as the lead in all escalation/problem resolution as it relates to suppliers, pricing, lead time, allocations, product development, continuous improvement, time lines and contracts/agreement interpretation.
  • Drive the timely execution of early supplier selection into the product development cycle (as required).
  • Complete yearly buy-plan in assigned commodities.
  • Maintain listing of on-going cost reduction opportunities by commodity.

MINIMUM EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering or Accounting.
  • 7 years of experience in the Materials/Purchasing/sales function with at least 2 years of leadership experience.

Works with Design Engineering, Quality, Purchasing and Manufacturing; supplying technical leadership to support of Zebra products. Responsible for maintaining electro-mechanical products, replacing end of life components, supporting mfg and supplier's issues as they arise to ensure operational goals and supply chain requirements are met.
